CCC's Statement of Faith

Campus Crusade for Christ was founded by Bill Bright in 1951. His vision was to reach out to college students and communicate clearly the amazing love of Jesus Christ. As students lives were transformed, they would want to share about this amazing relationship with others on their campus and wherever they went. And Bill, along with his wife Vonette, would mentor and equip them to do just that.

Bill Bright's original vision is still the heart of Campus Crusade for Christ. But today it's more than just college students. CCC staff are reaching almost every corner of the world. There are 26,000 staff in 190 or more countries. There are ministries that reach out to prisons, youth, athletes, families, and victims of natural disasters among others. But the Campus Crusade's college ("Campus") ministry is still the largest.

What are we doing in Kentucky?
Our team here in Central and Eastern Kentucky is part of this "Campus Ministry."  We're trusting God to use us to give every student and faculty on each of the 20 or so campuses in our area an opportunity to respond to the claims of Christ, to build believers up in their faith, and to equip them to have a ministry of their own while in college and beyond graduation (Win, Build, Send).  In short, we're trusting God to turn lost students and faculty into Christ-centered laborers.

In order to start ministries on campuses, we look for a few key students who have a desire to have an impact for Christ on campus.  When we find those students, we do our best to try to resource and equip them to lead the ministry themselves.
